Hello to everyone. I get nostalgic when I think of Imperial Beach. How blessed we all were to grow up in a small beach town. I have lived in Henderson for two years and hope to return to South Orange County next year where I lived most of my life. I have three children, 2 daughters and 1 son. Four grandchildren and 1 great-grandaughter. My husband is a school teacher and is 11 years younger than me. Whoopee! Of course, now that he is 50 I tell him he is getting too old for me. I have been disabled for 14 years with Fibromyalgia. It keeps me from enjoying each day to the fullest but I do the best I can. I have my good days and when they come, I do more than I should. When I was 21, I never thought I would be 25 and now I am 62. When I was in elementary school, I thought I would be gone by 2000. A big what's up to all the Mariners past and present, especially the all-powerful class of Double Zero. Things are smooth sailing on the homefront. IB is still my #1 choice to stay, even though I had seriously contemplated a permanent re-location to Calaveras County up north near Sacramento. It's a beautiful place to be if you are looking to get away from everything for a while. Hunting, Fishing, Jet-Skis at the lake or ATV's in the hills, anything and everything was at my fingertips. But I returned due to a very good job offer. I am being groomed for a Managerial position with Regal Entertainment Group, which is the largest Movie Theater Chain in the world. AMC is only second best! I will be able to accept the position at the place where I started at about a year ago, Horton Plaza in Downtown. Open Invite to anybody cool from back in the day to drop in for a movie on me. I got a real treat last night, when I got to test-screen Star Wars Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith. On the night before it opened. It was frickin' awesome! The other 5 movies don't have jack on this one. It all comes full circle here. Anyways enough said.
