Message	I had a crush on a horse at Caliente, Danae was her name.I didn't have time for girls back then nor did I have money or wheels. My crush was on Danae, the filly who could break fast from the gate, leave the rest of the field in her dust, and romp home by 10-20 lengths. That filly was smaller than most horses, looked like she was asleep most of the time but when the gate sprung open, she lit the place up at Caliente and later in Southern California. I would bet a dollar on her and win maybe 50 cents. However, it was the safest bet I ever made. She never lost at Caliente. What a little darling. Gary Logan's father owned and trained her. Message	I didn't have any luck with girls in high school because I was too shy.. I thought about them that's for sure. But my Senior Year I was getting female attention that I could finally recognize/understand. Maybe I was getting female attention earlier, but I was too inexperienced to spot it. In my Senior year I was finally mature enough to recognize it. Anyway, I have to give a "shout out" to Ginny, 1960. Ginny, was voted the most beautiful girl in our class. And she was HOT for her some Hank. I was just too inexperienced and stupid to exploite the situation. But I will remember her always... actually she wasn't the only one.
